Church Needs

As you know, our church has reached its limits regarding building space. We have out grown our current location. The team has found a much bigger building, which is centrally located in town, to rent with two floors that can be used as a sanctuary and for the children’s ministry.

We need your help!

The church body has been able to raise half of the $1400 needed to make the move. Would you help us with the remaining $700? We are very encouraged by the church body. For the local people to be able to come together and give $700 is huge. Most of the people are quit poor and make between $300-500 a month.

As it is a bigger space, there are a few items that we will need and praying that someone within the body of Christ can assist:

-Sound system, includes two speakers, amp for 4 microphones, and soundboard. Cost $900

-2 microphones. Cost $100

-Building of a platform for the pulpit, which will be done by us. Cost $150

-Projector to display songs and notes during preaching. Cost $600

-Uniformed chairs for the church building (50). $1000

-Curtains for the first floor. Cost $200

Please meet Miguel. Miguel has been attending Iglesia Cristiana de la Gracia for the past several years. His life has drastically changed over the years through his personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He rides the bus for an hour to get to church each Sunday morning. Most Sunday mornings he arrives early and sits to read his Bible for an hour before service begins. One Sunday morning, Joe was able to give him a study Bible. He was filled with joy and his whole face lit up to receive this Bible. We have come to love Miguel and are grateful to have him be a part of the body of Christ. It is beautiful to see the church growth and we would love to continue to reach people like Miguel for Christ.

Please pray and see if you are led by the Holy Spirit in helping the local church, in Cusco, Peru for God’s glory and honor. If you feel led to give specifically to the needs of the church, please label for “Cusco Church Plant”.

Why do we go to the unreached people of Peru preaching and teaching? We go because we want God’s name and glory to be magnified among the nations. Our vision is to train indigenous leaders and pastors throughout Peru so that they may be better equipped to reach their people for Jesus Christ.

We would like to thank you for all that you do and have done for our family. We pray for our supporters regularly. Please continue to pray that God’s name would receive the glory and honor.

Please feel free to share about us and the ministry with your family and friends
